I shared this on an addiction recovery forum this morning. I thought the reminder was worth sharing here as well.
Truth be told, many of the Scriptures I’ve shared in the passed few weeks have been the result of the Lord’s Word speaking into my life with such potent clarity that I am compelled to direct others to the same texts. I don’t know who is seeing these posts or to what degree they have an affect, but when the Scriptures hit right, they are always worth sharing.
Guys, this morning I need to share the following. I share it for your good, but I am desperately clinging to it myself; I need it, for my life. This is life-saving, soul-healing wisdom:
“Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths.”
Proverbs 3:5-6 ESV
Please take time to not only read it but consider its implications.
*Where are you refusing to Trust God?
*Are there any ways in which you are not acknowledging the Lord?
*Is there any facet of your life that you are still keeping from him?
