So, despite early intentions, I have no post for 3/14 or midweek. I’m learning that the responsibilities and needs related to my new job at G.Fedale Roofing and Siding, in conjunction with my maintaining a flow of income in EBay are requiring a bit more time, effort, and energy than I originally anticipated. Plus, I am trying to be more mindful of spending quality time with Jam and Landon as we make this shift, which also requires concerted choices.
But this is all good. It’s good to put one’s attention into their family, their workload, and their home finances. These things matter. I am neither frustrated nor discouraged by this development, I am learning to adapt. I am finding a new balance to thrive in new ways.
And one recent discovery may allow me to do this: a treasure trove of eBay archival photos. I have located years of stock photos from 2004 to the present, representing nearly EVERY item that has passed through my hands for the last 15 years. Granted, thousands of items were just thrown into lots, but a large number were sold as singles that could be used as gallery/stock photos in THE STORE once I go through them. Here’s to doing that while binging some show this spring (likely Rescue Heroes).
Speaking of binge-watching, I’ve been checking out a few flics on my longtime curiosity list…and nearly all of them are underwhelming. Recent pleasant surprises have been few, and I see no need to recommend anything at present.
My son is wonderful, but we are currently potty training due to the self-quarantining of our family thanks to the COVID-19. Potty training is rough with any toddler, and he is giving us DragonBall Z levels of screaming in dissent. But we’ll get through it.
The job is good. Learning much and feeling inept often, but I’ll get there, too. I know the best is yet to come for me at that company.
