Well, we are almost through the month of March and now into the first days of spring. Rain is falling, and many folks in America are working remotely in self-quarantine (or family quarantine), just trying to get through the odd reality in which we live.

Swag? Nah.

So, despite early intentions, I have no post for 3/14 or midweek. I’m learning that the responsibilities and needs related to my new job at G.Fedale Roofing and Siding, in conjunction with my maintaining a flow of income in EBay are requiring a bit more time, effort, and energy than I originally anticipated. Plus, I am trying to be more mindful of spending quality time with Jam and Landon as we make this shift, which also requires concerted choices.

03/07/2020 Marching into New Territory

The face I think I am making all the time.

This week I began a new job. My Emotions have been all over the map. Plus, Landon has a cold which meant that yesterday I began showing signs of a cold. And of course, there’s the standard stressors of day-to-day finances, the eBay store, and general life matters to which I must attend. It’s been a week.

The first week of a new job is always going to be tough. I don’t know if there are exceptions to this rule. It was the truth at every job I can remember, with one exception of my first job out of college at a call center for an insurance company. That first week was not difficult, But pretty much every week after that was brutal.
