Well, 2016 is Ending

The WELL poster, starting out in black & white and getting more color as the water fills…

2016 has been a rough year on alot of folks. I count myself among them.

We had to adjust to my wife’s gallbladder failure, my prior job deteriorating, and other challenges. It’s been hard.

But it’s also been a year of flourishing. I knew it would be.

I had been assured of it through prayer. But flourishing in the eyes of the Lord does not look as we might expect. It’s not until we look back on things that we see how blessed we’ve been.

Still the Writer

Posted by on May 6, 2016 in Offsite Content, Writer's Diary

Last week, I inadvertently began Jeffrey Goins’ 30-day writing challenege.

How does one “inadvertently” sign up for a challenge? Well, that’s easy enough. I signed up for 30 writing prompts to “get me started writing” on a given day. I just didn’t know they’d be coming to me daily, in a challenge format. But Mr. Goins must understand the human psyche, because he’s gotten me writing 8 days of the 10.

Interview at Huffington Post

Last week, I was contacted by my long-time friend and mentor, Mark Joseph, regarding an interview for the Huffington Post. Mark is not only a great guy, but an astute culture observer, producer, and writer. Together, we discuss porn culture and my novel, Stronghold, which explores the spirit battle out of addiction.

A Brief Debrief on Being a Toy Vendor

Posted by on Nov 6, 2015 in Offsite Content, Writer's Diary

So, I realize I have not been very good with my frequency of posting, well, ever; but recently that has been due to a very specific goal of getting all my present year collectibles inventory sold before the holidays. Note sure how much I spoke of it here, but a friend and I recently had a table at a local toy show, and the time, effort, and energy required to do so was greater than I anticipated. On top of that, I had a wealth of inventory leftover , which I am currently moving on eBay. So, there is new content, just not what I expected:

Here’s my write-up on the show.

And here’s my Ebay listings (granted, I know this second thing hardly counts as 3LC content).

Thanks for stopping by and putting up with me during this odd phase of my writing journey. I’ve got more stuff–real stuff–on deck. I promise!
